COMMISH: Hello to all of our experts
COMMISH: Welcome and thank you for joining us
COMMISH: Lets do some keeper league drafting!
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Good evening all
COMMISH: Hi Russ
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: Hi all
COMMISH: Hi Chris
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Who is the commish? And hello!
COMMISH: Geoff is commishing tonight
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Got it! Hi Geoff!
Fantasy Football Helpers: Hello all.
Fantasy Football Trader: Hey people.
COMMISH: Hi James
COMMISH: Hi Rick
Fantasy Football Trader: Hey Geoff
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Is Rick James in the house?
COMMISH: First question from AIM: What are the differences in drafting for a keeper league against a redraft?
Mock Draft Central: You need to be more aggressive going after young talent
Fantasy Football Trader: You'll see here in 15 minutes with my 1st overall pick.
Mock Draft Central: and avoid paying a lot for guys on the decline
Mock Draft Central: Is it Brady Quinn???
Fantasy Football Trader: lmao!
BFD Fantasy: stephen Jackson
Fantasy Football Trader: ...yes.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Initial keeper and re-draft are similar. But, you have to keep an eye on drafting younger talent when all else is equal.
Game Time Decisions: You're going to see some guys that might have value this year, but little after that fall much further than a normal draft
Fantasy Football Trader: Yep...SJax.
Fantasy Football Trader: Extremely young RB's skyrocket. Rookies, including those with questionable '07 value can be bumped by 2 rounds or more.
Game Time Decisions: At the same time, you aren't going to be drafting all young talent. Remember, most keeper league allow you to keep just a few (2-4). For us tonight, all of our top 4 picks should be guys we most likely would keep after this year.
Game Time Decisions: FFT, right on the money
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: It is also important to know your keeper rules as this can influence your drafting strategy.
Game Time Decisions: I'm very interested to see how this goes down tonight. 14 teams on year 1 of a keeper league.Could panic set in the 3rd, 4th rounds?
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: There is a difference in keeping top 3 players from initial draft, versus keeping 3 from whatever round you draft them in.
BFD Fantasy: This is any four I assume
Fantasy Football Trader: Very true.
Game Time Decisions: Yes
Mock Draft Central: Yes
BFD Fantasy: Are we going to play this out as a league?
COMMISH: No
Game Time Decisions: By the way, my name is Ryan Simmons and I'll be on the featred columnists on GTD this year. Thanks for having me.
Mock Draft Central: Glad to have you here, Ryan
Game Time Decisions: excuse my keyboard :)
Fantasy Football Cafe: Hey guys
COMMISH: Hi Ryan
FantasyMojo: Hi Guys...Darren from FantasyMojo just logged in.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Hello FFC
Fantasy Football Trader: Very nice to meet you Ryan.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Hey Darren
Game Time Decisions: Welcome Darren
Chris - MDC User: And I arrive with 8 minutes to spare
Game Time Decisions: Thanks FFT
Mock Draft Central: Hey Chris - thanks for participating
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Russ here
COMMISH: Hi Chris: Welcome to the first ever MDC user to participate in an expert mock
Fantasy Football Cafe: this is non-ppr, right?
Game Time Decisions: Anyone interested in some free pub, shoot me an e-mail after the draft. theryansimmonsshow@yahoo.com
FF Mastermind: Brent Lathrop, present and accounted for
Chris - MDC User: my pleasure
Mock Draft Central: That is correct, no PPR
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: who should i keep: manning or ronnie brown?
Game Time Decisions: I am assuming eli?
Game Time Decisions: ha
COMMISH: Doesn't say
COMMISH: I'm guessing Peyton
Mock Draft Central: I'm going to guess Peyton. I wouldn't keep Eli at all
Mock Draft Central: I'd personally give the nod to Peyton
BFD Fantasy: need to know league rules how may other keepers
Game Time Decisions: Personally, I'd keep Ronnie Brown. Quarterbacks are dime a dozen...unless it's Peyton. He is as sure of a bet you are going to get.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Are both first rounders?
Mock Draft Central: -- unless Ronnie Brown "costs less" to keep meaning you exchange different picks
Game Time Decisions: Not in my book
Fantasy Football Trader: email sent ryan.
Game Time Decisions: Great.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Ryan, I also sent email
FF Mastermind: so we answer questions and draft?
Mock Draft Central: yup
COMMISH: Answering is optional, but feel free to add your opinions
Mock Draft Central: still waiting on two participants
Chris - MDC User: i am very opinionated
Game Time Decisions: What about turning in comments on every pick after we draft? Like one sentence or two on what we did. Is that needed?
COMMISH: No
Fantasy Football Trader: Keep Manning.
COMMISH: Feel free, though, if you wish
Mock Draft Central: No necessary - we usually comment on the key questions
Game Time Decisions: great
Mock Draft Central: and we post the chat transcript the day after the draft
Mock Draft Central: so don't say anything you won't want Mom reading on google
Mock Draft Central: :)
FF Mastermind: will the rosters be viewable once the draft is completed?
Game Time Decisions: What two representatives are we waiting on?
COMMISH: Yes
Fantasy Football Trader: yes.
Fantasy Football Trader: sorry Commish.
COMMISH: Just Fantasy Football Express
Fantasy Insider Online: holllllllllllleeeeeeeerrrr
Fantasy Football Trader: I was just excited to know the answer to something.
COMMISH: Hey Matt
Fantasy Insider Online: what's up geoff
Fantasy Insider Online: good evening everyone else
COMMISH: Not too much -- thanks for joining us
Game Time Decisions: Hello.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Hey Matt, Russ here
Fantasy Insider Online: thanks for having me
Fantasy Insider Online: is the fantasy man in the house?
COMMISH: No
BFD Fantasy: Good draft all
Chris - MDC User: ya im here
COMMISH: He confirmed
Chris - MDC User: jk
Fantasy Insider Online: chris frangione... i went to h.s. with a guy by that name lol
Chris - MDC User: thats how my name is supposed to be spelled
FF Mastermind: is everyone here? if not what happens when their pick comes up?
Fantasy Insider Online: let's have a good draft everyone, good luck
Fantasy Football Cafe: is FFT the one missing?
Fantasy Football Cafe: this pick should be easy ;)
Game Time Decisions: Who designed this Draft Room? I really like it.
Mock Draft Central: Thanks
FantasyMojo: This is the same draft engine AFFL uses. Sweet
Fantasy Football Helpers: Whoever it was was probably tripping out...
Fantasy Football Cafe: SoD ;)
Game Time Decisions: Steven Jackson 1? Wow! you were right on surprise.
Fantasy Insider Online: lou, ryan and ryan, whats up
Chris - MDC User: not what i expected
Fantasy Football Cafe: Heh are there two ryans in here?
FF Mastermind: Lou, Ryan and Ryan? Is that a new reality show?
BFD Fantasy: john here for lou
Fantasy Football Trader: For the long explanation: http://www.fantasytrader.citymax.com/articles/article/4318001/73940.htm
Fantasy Football Helpers: PPR or no, I missed that?
Fantasy Insider Online: lol
Game Time Decisions: FFE, already ruining my draft
COMMISH: No ppr
Fantasy Football Cafe: non-ppr
Fantasy Football Cafe: LJ at 5
Fantasy Football Cafe: wow
Mock Draft Central: Guess I'll "settle" for LJ!
COMMISH: Question from AIM: trader, ya gotta explain that one
Fantasy Football Trader: please click the URL above I provided.
Fantasy Football Trader: That article is my explanation.
Fantasy Insider Online: rick... i like the pick, no worries
Fantasy Football Trader: thx
Fantasy Insider Online: stevie j. is my boy
FF Mastermind: I like the pick as well...Jackson is a stud
Game Time Decisions: Tough spot I was put in. I knew I was going to hate the #8 pick.
Fantasy Football Cafe: I'm huge on Jackson, but no way over LT
Chris - MDC User: i had both last year
Fantasy Insider Online: i agree ryan
FantasyMojo: LT still has alot in the tank, but St Jack is a beast
Mock Draft Central: http://www.fantasytrader.citymax.com/articles/article/4318001/73940.htm
Mock Draft Central: drew is a nice pick there
Game Time Decisions: I also like Stephen Jackson, but LT is going away anytime soon. He's 28.
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: which player will have the largerst difference in value between redraft and thiss one?
Fantasy Insider Online: depends on if you're playing for today or tomorrow
Mock Draft Central: A few of the top rookie RB's
BFD Fantasy: edge
Mock Draft Central: those will have the biggest diff
Chris - MDC User: larry johnson will fall
Fantasy Football Trader: Neither is SJax - it would be a mistake to assume a huge gap bwtween the 2 other than age.
Chris - MDC User: as you can see
FF Mastermind: yeah, I'd say Adrian Peterson(MIN)
Mock Draft Central: Chris - you were psychic :)
Fantasy Football Trader: As exhibit A I present SJax's last month of the season in '06.
Chris - MDC User: ya, I am
FF Mastermind: by the way Football Helpers...very upset with the Maroney pick
Fantasy Football Cafe: extrapolating a month with no major personnel/talent changes over a season is dangerous
Fantasy Football Cafe: I was big on Sjax last year because of his 1st half the year before
Fantasy Football Cafe: but that was mainly because the second half was a disaster for the team w/out Martz/Bulger
Fantasy Football Cafe: that's the kind of situation where you can almost throw the rest of the stuff out the window
FF Mastermind: as long as he's healthy, he's a beast
Fantasy Football Trader: Are you on recond then that week's 14-17 were flukish for SJax?
Fantasy Football Cafe: nothing like that happened at the end of last year, his redzone carries remained about steady, etc
Chris - MDC User: marion barber might be picked higher
Chris - MDC User: banking on him and julius not being on the same team
Fantasy Insider Online: atleast geoff won't be stealing every single one of my picks this time around
Fantasy Football Cafe: flukish? Well do you expect SJax to score 40 TDs next year?
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: nice benson pick
Fantasy Football Cafe: that's what weeks 14-17 extrapolated are
Fantasy Football Cafe: so even if he's the greatest FF RB of all-time it's unlikely he'll play like that over the course of the year
Fantasy Football Cafe: great pick on Portis btw FFH
Fantasy Insider Online: anyone else in the NYC area?
Chris - MDC User: i normally am
Mock Draft Central: WR run
Fantasy Football Helpers: Long Island
Chris - MDC User: rome
Fantasy Insider Online: some storm we're about to get
FantasyMojo: We're phillly based
COMMISH: Question from AIM: how many good years does harrison have left?
Game Time Decisions: Yea, odd. I really didn't want to take Fitzgerald, but I believe he had the best value at that pick.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: 2, IMO
BFD Fantasy: whos 1
FF Mastermind: I say two as well, for Harrison
Fantasy Football Cafe: 2
COMMISH: Question from the forum: is clinton portis really a good keeper?
Game Time Decisions: Well, I'm a Colts fan and I can tell Harrison has takenvery good care of his body. I truly believe he will still be a top 10 WR in the NFLfor the next 3 years. Most people will disagree, but I think he has Rice longevity.
FF Mastermind: I don't think so...to many injury concerns
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I'm a Colts season tix holder and I see Marvin being elite for 2 more years, then it just depends how long he wants to hang on.
Game Time Decisions: UFFCS, we need to talk about those tickets later on....ha
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: :-)
Mock Draft Central: I personally don't have a good feel for Portis
Fantasy Football Helpers: I'm worried about Portis, but with Maroney on the roster, I think he's a solid #2 RB keeper
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: shocked Lynch or Peterson hasn't gone yet
Fantasy Football Cafe: Portis is a great keeper. People are scared of him sharing time with Betts but last year in the first 7 games when he got only 65% of the carries (because of injury) he still averaged 100yds and a TD per game. This year he gets year 2 of Saunders system and a competent QB. Very underrated.
Game Time Decisions: I think whoever picked Portis was in a tough position and wanted his second running back. Remember, just because it is keeper you still are playin for year one. I think he was picked in the perfect spot.
Fantasy Insider Online: I really think Maroney has some of the best value in this type of league. I really seem him being a force.
Fantasy Insider Online: see*
COMMISH: Good call
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I need to see him carry the load for a full season. Much like Addai
Fantasy Football Helpers: Yeah, Betts doesn't scare me as much as Portis being rusty. That contract extension had franchise back-up written all over it.
Game Time Decisions: Addai will be fine.
Fantasy Football Trader: The thing about Lynch and Peterson - you'll have to pay #2 RB price for what will be #3 (or god forbid #4) production this season.
Chris - MDC User: my 2nd and 4rd picks are so far apart
FF Mastermind: I am big on Maroney as well. With Moss on board now it makes Maroney dangerous
Fantasy Insider Online: true, true... but i don't know. for some reason i feel like maroney is better suited to carry a full load than addai
Chris - MDC User: 3rd*
FF Mastermind: I'm not worried about Portis sharing with Betts either. It's the injuries
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: better in a keeper: westbrook, rudi, or travis henry
Fantasy Insider Online: his in that category of backs who can run and catch... much like LT and reginald
Fantasy Insider Online: RUDI
Mock Draft Central: I like Rudi better
FF Mastermind: rudi
Mock Draft Central: dammit
Mock Draft Central: I knew Lynch would go right before me
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I'd say Henry, but not by much over Rudi.
FantasyMojo: Sorry.
Fantasy Football Trader: Westbrook.
Fantasy Insider Online: three consecutive years of 1,300+ and 12 TD's... and he's young
Game Time Decisions: Well, I drafted Rudi, but truly do believe with that offense and his youth, I would take him over the other 2 everytime
Game Time Decisions: Westbrook's body always has something wrong with it.
Fantasy Football Cafe: Rudi's problem is his upside. With no receiving skills to speak of it isn't high. I would prefer Westbrook.
Mock Draft Central: no worries - it was a good pick, I'm just jealous
Game Time Decisions: Can we stop drafting every running back on my board? Thanks you. :)
Fantasy Insider Online: i love westbrook, but he scares me. i hate having to see whether or not he's able to loosen himself up in pre-game
Mock Draft Central: Brian "questionable" Westbrook
Chris - MDC User: i drafted henry, but that was since rudi was gone
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: most future potential for a rookie running back not named Lynch or peterson?
Fantasy Football Cafe: can't believe Edge lasted so long
Fantasy Football Helpers: He'stoo one-dimensional and they can't have too much faith in his longterm value if they took another day one RB this year
Fantasy Insider Online: brandon jackson
Fantasy Football Trader: Irons.
Fantasy Football Cafe: I know it's a keeper but sheesh, a 350 carry guy with the 35th pick...
BFD Fantasy: jackson
Fantasy Football Trader: Just do yourself a favor and grab Irons.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I like the chances Brandon Jackson will get in GB
Mock Draft Central: Chris Henry has a good shot at getting time in TEN
Fantasy Football Cafe: FFT, they grabbed Perry even earlier a few years ago...
Chris - MDC User: i like the chances of a certain ATL rb
Game Time Decisions: I may get ripped for this, but I believe Thomas Jones is going to have a nice year in New York.
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: that's about where Lynch goes in non-keeper drafts
Fantasy Football Cafe: was wondering would JOnes would go
Fantasy Insider Online: ok, now that thomas jones is off the board... why do you think people are hating on him so much? doesn't anyone think he'll excel in NY? i kinda think he will be a beast
FantasyMojo: Leon will get his too. Thomas Jones is steady.
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I agree with the T. Jones call.
Fantasy Football Trader: Perry can't stay on the active roster.
Mock Draft Central: I don't disagree. Thomas Jones is going to have a solid year and is being undervalued
Fantasy Football Cafe: I almost took Jones/Edge with my last couple picks, thought they'd go immediately after me for sure
Game Time Decisions: While he is 29, he hasn't had that many miles on him compared to the 29 year old backs.
Game Time Decisions: And, the Jets are getting better.
Fantasy Insider Online: thank you, jason
Game Time Decisions: The Penguin is constructing a nice offensive line.
Fantasy Football Helpers: Damn, I was hoping Evans would fall to the 4th...
Game Time Decisions: Jones will be one of the guys I target this year as a sleeper even though he really shouldn't be labeled as one.
Fantasy Insider Online: jones is this year's gore... i'm making that call
Fantasy Football Cafe: ahman
Fantasy Football Helpers: Entirely different situations...
Fantasy Football Cafe: dangit, was hoping he might fall
Game Time Decisions: Now that Green is off the board, thoughts on him?
Fantasy Football Cafe: Underrated where he usually goes (4th/5th), about right in the 3rd
COMMISH: Just a reminder to our users that this is an initial keeper league draft
Fantasy Insider Online: jerious norwood is another amazing pick in this type of league
FF Mastermind: well, for me nobody was left at RB. He's on the wrong side of 30, but I need a 2nd RB
COMMISH: I'm getting many angry messages that would be true if this were a redraft league
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: A. Green might hold great value this season! Health permitting!
Chris - MDC User: as long as dunn doesnt stick around
Fantasy Football Helpers: He just turned 30, though, and has relatively low mileage. Minimal competition and Houston's 2nd year in zone-blocking scheme...
Chris - MDC User: deuce is still alive
Game Time Decisions: Hush Chris :)
Fantasy Insider Online: back to back bengals... i hated to do it, but best value on the board for me. with henry out, TJ should see alot of jump balls in the endzone
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: So far, I see a little too much weighting towards keeper seasons and not enough towards THIS season. A lot of value dropping. IMO
Game Time Decisions: agreed
COMMISH: Question from AIM: now that calvin is gone, who is the next rookie off the board?
Fantasy Insider Online: UFFCS... agreed. even in this setting, i play for today
Game Time Decisions: Brandon Jackson
Game Time Decisions: GB, RB
Mock Draft Central: dang it Lou
BFD Fantasy: lol
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: great turner pick!
Game Time Decisions: uh
FantasyMojo: Not buying the Randy Moss "I want to play" routine
Fantasy Football Helpers: Thanks...I guess that's why they call it an initial draft, haha
Chris - MDC User: i was quiet
Fantasy Football Cafe: heh, I say we go back to not letting him draft another RB so I can nab Deuce ;)
Game Time Decisions: Hey, I know Deuce has some injury history, but he's 28. I wanted 3 running backs I could use (remember flex), and there's always the possibility he could somewhere else next year and be productive
Fantasy Insider Online: i like that method ryan
Chris - MDC User: it seems like most people have jumped on the "give up on Jamal" bandwagon
FF Mastermind: I jumped on that bandwagon about three years ago
FF Mastermind: never a big fan of his
Fantasy Football Trader: lol - I agree FFM
Fantasy Insider Online: nice pick mojo
Chris - MDC User: i never got off
FantasyMojo: Jamal runs like Herschel did, baby steps
Game Time Decisions: Not only that, but he's on Cleveland. They are getting better, but that o-line is still a work in progress even with the moves this off-season
Fantasy Insider Online: cleveland had a great offseason
FantasyMojo: Cleveland is a graveyard for RB's
Fantasy Football Helpers: I built that bandwagon with my bare hands
Mock Draft Central: on rock and roll...
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Wow, Jennings huh? I din't expect that.
Game Time Decisions: FIO, I agree, but I think this will still be another growing pains season
Fantasy Football Cafe: needed a sure-starter w/ ADP currently slotted into the #2 spot
Fantasy Football Cafe: well, my #2 slot, not minny's ;)
FF Mastermind: i know I passsed on him, but I'm a bit surprised Randy Moss fell so far
Chris - MDC User: too many questions
Game Time Decisions: Anyone else floored by the value out there right now in a 14 team league at the start of the 5th round?
Fantasy Football Trader: No.
Fantasy Football Cafe: Never usually grab a QB this early, but Mcnabb is just too good when he's in there
Mock Draft Central: it will dry up quickly
Chris - MDC User: thats what i thought about with manning
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I certainly am. It seems like some are giving up on this season.
Fantasy Football Cafe: indeed
Fantasy Football Trader: This being keeper it's not surprising me at all.
Fantasy Football Cafe: 4-player keeper though
Fantasy Football Cafe: far from a dynasty
Fantasy Insider Online: mcnabb has something to prove this year... and i like westbrook out of the backfield and think reggie brown will turn into a solid #1
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: no love for Santana?
Mock Draft Central: I believe in constant rebuilding :)
FF Mastermind: Nope. Santana is waaaay to inconsistent
Fantasy Football Trader: I love Santana. But not more than my current #3 Edwards...
FF Mastermind: I agree MDC
Fantasy Football Trader: #2 - sorry.
Chris - MDC User: next RB off the board
Chris - MDC User: i say ricky w
FF Mastermind: shhh my pick is coming up (c:
Chris - MDC User: my bad
Fantasy Football Cafe: Santana went for 138/3 in one game last year, 660yds and 3 TDs in the other 13...though that should improve some with Campbell
Fantasy Insider Online: UFFCS... read my mind
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: Who are some current backups that could be first or second rounders down the road?
Chris - MDC User: norwood
Fantasy Insider Online: jerious
Fantasy Football Helpers: Michael Turner seems like an obvious possibility
Fantasy Football Cafe: barber
Fantasy Football Cafe: turner
FF Mastermind: norwood
Fantasy Football Trader: Turner of course
Fantasy Football Express: kyle orton
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Leon washington could be . Also Deangelo Williams
Fantasy Insider Online: i like deangelo
Fantasy Football Trader: DeAngelo isn't a backup.
Game Time Decisions: Darrell Jackson is a work horse thats been placed on a team going up. I like the fact the 49ers don't have a true go to guy, but now they do in DJ.
Fantasy Football Trader: Not in a true sense.
Game Time Decisions: nice pick QFF...I kept going back and forth between moss and jackson
FF Mastermind: DJ is still hurt though and has been injured the past two season. I'm steering clear of him
Chris - MDC User: time for some WRs
Game Time Decisions: True, but he still somehow managed 10 touchdowns last year
Fantasy Insider Online: chambers better not do me dirty again this year
Fantasy Football Helpers: I can't believe I'm even using these terms to gauge value, but Moss has been #1-esque on odd-numbered years...
Fantasy Football Cafe: So has Chambers, heh
Game Time Decisions: FFH, I hate doing that too, but you're right.
FF Mastermind: that's with Matt Hasselbeck throwing the ball.
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: what experts are shooting for the title in 07?
Fantasy Football Helpers: All, I would hope...
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I am for sure.
Game Time Decisions: My goal is always win in year one, but just have some planin place for the future
Fantasy Football Cafe: It's more than possible to shoot for '07 and the future
Fantasy Football Trader: EXACTLY.
Game Time Decisions: There's o need to draft every 24 year old player out there. You still want some vets
Chris - MDC User: i would like my team to be a dynasty
Fantasy Football Helpers: I don't think anyone came into this draft with the strategy to focus more on the future than on '07
Game Time Decisions: You still want proven talent
Chris - MDC User: so the next two or three years
Mock Draft Central: I think it's easier to compete now and next year in football than in baseball
Fantasy Football Trader: There are many way to "lean" future and not give up huge in the short term.
Fantasy Football Helpers: I think you have to balance the two but you can't just give up on this season
Mock Draft Central: in baseball guys take longer to develop
Game Time Decisions: Interesting back to back draft picks
Mock Draft Central: Lou, you are killing me
Chris - MDC User: ?
BFD Fantasy: Why?
Mock Draft Central: I wanted Brown
Mock Draft Central: He was part of my win now strategy
Fantasy Football Cafe: bah, wanted coles
BFD Fantasy: i wanted jones
COMMISH: The questions are slowing down; here's a chance for our experts to plug their site
COMMISH: If you want to pub yourself, go ahead
Chris - MDC User: www.idonthabeasite.com
Game Time Decisions: That was probably my first bad pick of this draft
Fantasy Football Helpers: Coles as a #3 in a 14-team league is ideal for me
BFD Fantasy: Bfdfantasy.com $14.95 draft guide in season podcasts
Fantasy Football Cafe: Yeah that's a good spot there FFH
FF Mastermind: www.ffmastermind.com
Game Time Decisions: Only a minute to think about it, but Icouldn't help to think what QB's would be waiting for me next round in a 14team league

Chris - MDC User: i like free
Fantasy Football Cafe: Hey, we were told to be shameless ;)
Fantasy Football Trader: Dangit - wanted VY
Fantasy Football Cafe: Gonzo this late :O
Game Time Decisions: I have an old Maxim magazine from 1999. That could be free if wanted.
Mock Draft Central: I'll give you one of my kids if you signup for a lifetime membership
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: nice pick on VY
Chris - MDC User: i am a little worried that VY could be figured out by defenses
Mock Draft Central: here's a hint, he has no WR's, so he's going to run...
Game Time Decisions: What is everyone's thoughts on Colston being a potential bust this year?
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: FREE Custom Cheatsheet with any League signup. www.ultimatefantasyfootballcheatsheets.com
Chris - MDC User: he is certainly hyped up
Game Time Decisions: Two if his clutches are gone. Drew Bennett and Travis Henry
FF Mastermind: could happen. Remember that guy in Tampa Bay...uhhh that Clayton guy...lol
COMMISH: We have some good sites represented here; I recommend them all to all of the viewers
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: We have $40 leagues with 3rd round reversal drafts.
COMMISH: Especially Mock Draft Central :-)
Chris - MDC User: nice
Chris - MDC User: i really wanted donte
Fantasy Football Cafe: was hoping he would fall
Chris - MDC User: i dont normally admit that but what happens when moss bust
Fantasy Football Trader: GOD, I timed out on Fred Taylor.
Fantasy Football Cafe: he's not bad there..
Chris - MDC User: fragile freddy
FantasyMojo: Hoping Fatso Lendale shapes up
Chris - MDC User: what time is it in the US
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Game Time!
Chris - MDC User: thanks
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: 8:46 EST
Fantasy Insider Online: Is Terry Tate still on the board?
Fantasy Football Cafe: he is
Fantasy Football Cafe: steal here too
Fantasy Insider Online: lol
COMMISH: Comment from AIM: does a bucket of chicken nuggets come with lendale?
Fantasy Insider Online: LMAO
Fantasy Football Cafe: haha
Chris - MDC User: it should
Fantasy Insider Online: that was a great comment
Game Time Decisions: No, a bucket of KFC does however
Mock Draft Central: and a side of BBQ
Fantasy Insider Online: shout out to whoever wrote that
FF Mastermind: lendale thinks he's an offensivle lineman
FantasyMojo: And lots of sweet tea to wash down the fried chicken he's been pounding down
Mock Draft Central: Love the Winslow pick
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Mojo, you're too close to my heart there! lol
Game Time Decisions: Did I reach on Foster? Didn't like any of the WR's on the board at that pick
Fantasy Football Cafe: yeah TE's fell bigtime here, especially in a 14 teamer
Fantasy Football Cafe: GTD, no way a currently starting RB (even if losing his job is likely imminent) can be a reach this late
FF Mastermind: Cooley is a great value here...
Fantasy Football Cafe: all the TE's are, they all dropped
Fantasy Insider Online: i don't like any of them either
Fantasy Football Helpers: Not my handcuff!
COMMISH: Question from AIM: do the best defenses have less value in a keeper?
Game Time Decisions: That's how I felt, but I was wondering if you guys knew something Ididn't know. I know Foster has had injury problems and has Williams to battle, but he's pretty damn productive when healthy.
Mock Draft Central: I'm not 100% sure who the best defense is going to be this year
Mock Draft Central: I think Chicago is figured out
Game Time Decisions: My opinion is worry about your Tight End, Defense, and kcker last in that order
Fantasy Football Trader: Jags
Chris - MDC User: i thought it would be too early for devery
Fantasy Football Cafe: henderson...nice
COMMISH: Great pick on Devery
Game Time Decisions: no one is going to keep a defense for next year
Fantasy Football Cafe: oft overlooked after the meachem draftpick
Chris - MDC User: oops
Game Time Decisions: FIO, nice pick on Devery as well
Fantasy Insider Online: thanks
Fantasy Football Cafe: yeah I would say defenses have the same value, since no one is going to keep one in a 4-keeper anyway
Fantasy Insider Online: can't argue with 20+ ypc
Chris - MDC User: what do you make of the driver, clayton, holmes grouping
FF Mastermind: I don't like the Devery pick!!! I was about to take him!!!
Fantasy Insider Online: lol... well if it makes you feel any better i was contemplating gonzalez, but liked my chances better with devery at my #3
Fantasy Football Trader: I think one of them doesn't belong...Clayton
Chris - MDC User: this is marc
Fantasy Football Cafe: driver >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> clayton >>> Holmes
Fantasy Football Helpers: Not a big Hasselbeck fan to begin with, but I guess everyone has given up on him
Fantasy Football Cafe: Driver has to be the most underrated player in FF
Fantasy Insider Online: definitely one of them FFC
Game Time Decisions: ok, so that was not my pick
Chris - MDC User: next to only Bledsoe
Game Time Decisions: :(
Chris - MDC User: leon, nice
Mock Draft Central: had to dig - wanted Cutler and Meachum
Game Time Decisions: Let me just say I recommend to everyone not to draft a defense in this round. I guess the computer beat me to the punch
Fantasy Insider Online: commish... a little help with GTD
COMMISH: A little late
Chris - MDC User: i recommend that nobody takes a player from the vikings in this round
Game Time Decisions: haha
Fantasy Insider Online: lol my bad
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: lol
COMMISH: I'll continue
Fantasy Insider Online: damn, i just got sonned
Fantasy Insider Online: lol
COMMISH: Nah
COMMISH: We have to get this bad boy in
Game Time Decisions: my guy is still out there..maybe it'll work out
Fantasy Insider Online: i like that smith pickup rick
Game Time Decisions: as long as Brian knows I knowingly did not take the Bears defense, I think I won't be fired :)
Fantasy Football Trader: thank ya
Fantasy Insider Online: the 49ers are headed in such a great direction
Game Time Decisions: Alex Smith....tremendous value in round 9
Fantasy Football Trader: Agreed. 9er's are all pointed str8 up.
Game Time Decisions: I probably should have held out on Phillips knowing Alex was still there
Chris - MDC User: the ball is snapped, but romo cant hold on to it
Game Time Decisions: now now
FantasyMojo: But TO can catch it
BFD Fantasy: whitten, you got me back
COMMISH: I refuse to draft Romo -- he's dating my future wife
Mock Draft Central: revenge is sweet
Mock Draft Central: I heard Romo was dating Jeff Garcia...
Fantasy Football Cafe: haha
Chris - MDC User: hence the tony homo idea
Game Time Decisions: Reggie Williams could breakout this year if he gets consistency from his QB...that's a big if.
COMMISH: Oh ... I thought he was dating Brian Griese
COMMISH: I take back my girlfriend comment
Fantasy Insider Online: how did garcia pull a chick like that?
Fantasy Football Cafe: Reggie Williams is probably my most hated WR in the NFL, heh
Game Time Decisions: $$$
Chris - MDC User: the world will never know
Fantasy Football Cafe: the guy taunts like he just made a one handed catch to win the super bowl everytime he catches a 5-yard out
COMMISH: Chicks dig bad quarterbacks
Game Time Decisions: Yea, I could live without that
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: RW talks alot of smack for an average performer!
Game Time Decisions: Chicks dig $$$
Fantasy Football Cafe: oh man someone took hackett?
Fantasy Football Cafe: dangit was planning on nabbing him
Mock Draft Central: Kyle Orton gets the babes
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Good pick on Marshall
Game Time Decisions: ha
Fantasy Insider Online: i'm making this call before my pick - Brandon Jacobs won't be able to get it done in NY
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: thanks
Mock Draft Central: don't do it
Mock Draft Central: Nooooooo
Fantasy Insider Online: lol
Game Time Decisions: Didn't realize Brandon Jackson was nabbed. Darn.
Fantasy Football Trader: LOVE the Bennett pick.
Mock Draft Central: there goes my handcuff
Fantasy Insider Online: i love reuben... ruby tuesdays
Fantasy Insider Online: sorry jason
Game Time Decisions: Bennett was the guy I was going to draft instead of Chicago
Mock Draft Central: such is life. I waited one round too long
Fantasy Insider Online: i just hate the way jacobs carries the ball... too straight up
Chris - MDC User: i have a problem with picking a D in anything but the last three round
Fantasy Football Trader: Me too Chris
Fantasy Insider Online: sure, he beasts dudes, but wait until he goes one on one with like urlacher
Chris - MDC User: apparently so did Cleveland
Game Time Decisions: Chris, I do too. It wasn't on purpose
Chris - MDC User: ya i know
Fantasy Football Cafe: This guy over at the cafe has devised this formula for ranking defenses week-to-week for defense by committee after week 8 every year. It's uncanny how accurate it is, maybe if he ever disappears and we lose those rankings I'll actually think about drafting a D early, heh
Chris - MDC User: sometimes i just follow bad offenses every week
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: me too usually - but Balt looked better than the players left
Fantasy Football Helpers: Torn between Pennington or Campbell there
Fantasy Football Trader: I think you went the right way.
Fantasy Insider Online: campbell may be the better "keeper pick" but i like chadwick
Fantasy Football Cafe: no reason to worry about who's the better keeper here
Game Time Decisions: Hate to do it, but I value running backs too much. And I know Jauron values the A-Train too much
Fantasy Football Cafe: doubt anyone would keep campbell in a 4-player keeper anytime soon
Fantasy Football Helpers: Yeah, well, I figured if we're only keeping a portion of the roster, neither would be a keeper either way.
Fantasy Football Cafe: exactly
Game Time Decisions: right
Chris - MDC User: my team looks weird
Fantasy Insider Online: damn, i'm getting shot down left and right lol
Fantasy Football Helpers: My team would've looked much better if I could've handcuffed Dominic Rhodes to LaMont Jordan
Chris - MDC User: my bad
COMMISH: Question from e-mail: Who are some players that will perform this year, but drop off next year and there after?
Fantasy Football Helpers: haha, yeah
Chris - MDC User: vick
Mock Draft Central: Ahman Green will drop off
Fantasy Football Helpers: Tony G. possibly.
Game Time Decisions: Hll, Vick may drop this year for all we know
Game Time Decisions: Tony G is a nice call
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: I think Edge could drop off.
Fantasy Football Helpers: Brett Favre
Chris - MDC User: trent green?
Fantasy Football Helpers: Amani Toomer, perhaps
Fantasy Football Cafe: so many capable QBs this year, why get stuck with Miami's, heh
Game Time Decisions: Isaac Bruce
Fantasy Football Cafe: shhh
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: Nice handcuff with robinson
Game Time Decisions: hehe
Chris - MDC User: i love green
Fantasy Football Cafe: oh it's my pick lol
Fantasy Football Cafe: I was looking down at my next pick
Fantasy Football Helpers: Poor Mike Furrey...
Chris - MDC User: but that is because i am a Bills fan
Fantasy Football Cafe: how the heck was bruce there?
Game Time Decisions: nice pick cafe
Game Time Decisions: I know
Fantasy Football Cafe: and drafted after the WR3 on his team?
Game Time Decisions: Great value
Fantasy Football Helpers: I could Bennett usurping the #2 spot.
Game Time Decisions: i think he got lost. He is waydown on this list. I have been scrambling to keep up
Fantasy Football Cafe: early for this guy, but gotta take him...
Fantasy Football Cafe: worth the shot
Chris - MDC User: lol
Chris - MDC User: his name is awesome
Fantasy Football Cafe: haha
Fantasy Football Helpers: DeDe Dorset wow....I know Dungy wants to platoon again, but I think they'll pluck a retread off FA
Fantasy Football Cafe: who's out there besides dillon?
Fantasy Football Helpers: Stephen Davis still property of Rams?
Chris - MDC User: dom williams
Fantasy Football Cafe: can he even run?
Fantasy Football Cafe: davis is still on the rams I believe
Fantasy Football Helpers: Well, that's besides the point, lol.
Fantasy Football Cafe: lol
Fantasy Football Trader: I pulled away from dom williams in the 40 last week when he was over at the house.
Game Time Decisions: maybe this team is a little crowded, but i cant take my eyes off the 1000 yds last year
Fantasy Football Cafe: lol FFT
Fantasy Football Cafe: yeah furrey is the forgotten man
Chris - MDC User: dom williams may never step on the field again
Fantasy Football Cafe: could be great value
Chris - MDC User: and when i say may, i mean definitely wont
BFD Fantasy: dog fight
Chris - MDC User: somebody had to take him though
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: where's the ankle biter when you need him?
COMMISH: Bush is a nice pick
Game Time Decisions: I had a punchline, but I'll refrain
Chris - MDC User: ff mstermind i hate you
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: thanks
Fantasy Football Trader: me too.
Fantasy Football Trader: Thought I could get Irons back at the other end.
Game Time Decisions: Who wants to trade for the Bears defense? :)
Fantasy Football Helpers: Think McCardell has anything left in the tank?
COMMISH: The Bush jokes were killed with Dave
FF Mastermind: it's good to be hated sometimes. No?
Game Time Decisions: he dropped pleny of passes in that playoff game
Chris - MDC User: true
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: McCardell is used up. Not the threat he once was.
Game Time Decisions: Chris, I hate you
Fantasy Football Helpers: That's what I'm thinking.
Game Time Decisions: Excellent pick in round 11
Game Time Decisions: he was on my radar
Chris - MDC User: hes all grown up
Chris - MDC User: sorta
COMMISH: I think our users may be burned out
Chris - MDC User: never
Fantasy Football Cafe: things have slowed down quite a bit
Chris - MDC User: this is true
Fantasy Football Express: Hey guys, I truly apologize for not getting here in time, got stuck in a major traffic jam because of a car fire after work. Again I apologize...but glad the auto-pilot picked Joseph Addai for me in the first round
Fantasy Football Helpers: Curry was pick, argh
Fantasy Football Express: not my car of course...that would be a pretty lame excuse
Fantasy Football Trader: Was the car yours?
Game Time Decisions: well, i'll go with ol' reliable as my backup QB
COMMISH: Welcome Mike
Chris - MDC User: i love the prepick feature
Fantasy Football Trader: That's the only reason to be late fo a draft - :)
Chris - MDC User: tavaris jackson was already picked
Fantasy Football Express: thanks. Sorry man. This isnt usually like me
Game Time Decisions: thats the second time it didnt initally take my pick...i think commish saved me there
COMMISH: Mike -- If you would have let us know sooner, we would have sent the Mock Draft Central helicopter
Game Time Decisions: i had him in pre-pick...don't know whathappened
Game Time Decisions: haha
Fantasy Football Express: maybe it could have airlifetd my car out of the traffic
Mock Draft Central: on our budget, I'd have to send Geoff on a unicycle
COMMISH: A wheeless unicycle
Chris - MDC User: can only afford one wheel
Fantasy Football Express: At least I got here in time to get a good kicker
Fantasy Football Cafe: ha
COMMISH: Always the optimist
Fantasy Football Express: Are we playing this league out??
Fantasy Football Cafe: no
Fantasy Football Express: thank god...lol
Game Time Decisions: DFF, you just had to pick Eddie...
Fantasy Football Express: Looks like I gotta ride Eli to the championship....yikes!...and I'm a Giants fan!
Mock Draft Central: round 13 and I get the older, more proven version of Vince Young
Game Time Decisions: that should get some eyes rolling, haha
Fantasy Insider Online: damn GTD... stole my guy
Game Time Decisions: wow, didn't think anyone would even think about olsen
Fantasy Insider Online: bergen county representative right there
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: thought I'd get Olsen - nice pick
Game Time Decisions: FIO, nice pick
Fantasy Insider Online: thank you sir
Fantasy Insider Online: we're on the same wavelength lol
Fantasy Football Trader: One more shamelss plug since the chat is winding down - free newsletter and 32in. flat screen over at FFT this year.
Fantasy Football Trader: Jarrett is my upset ROY pick.
Fantasy Football Trader: Very nice.
Game Time Decisions: Thanks Borat
Fantasy Football Helpers: Sidney Rice is mine.
Game Time Decisions: And exactly who will be throwing the ball to RIce?
Fantasy Football Helpers: I haven't quite figured that out yet.
Fantasy Football Trader: lol
Game Time Decisions: I like Rice too though
Game Time Decisions: Just messin. I don't get Minnesota
Fantasy Football Helpers: Well, Tavaris Jackson can throw a football through a brick wall.
Game Time Decisions: I know he isn't a youngin; but I think Booker makes a nice WR backup. And he had the likes of Ceo Lemon throwing him a ball
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: T Jackson is underrated
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: FFH nice handcuff with Morris. I was taking him!
Fantasy Football Helpers: I personally didn't like Jackson coming out of college, but I thought he looked much better than his stat line in his audition last year
Fantasy Football Helpers: Thanks, had Morris earmarked for a few rounds now
Game Time Decisions: DFF, you got bail money covered?
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: lol
Fantasy Football Helpers: Arrest warrants a stat in this league?
Game Time Decisions: -10 points
FantasyMojo: Henry worth a shot if you're thinking long term (not sentence I hope)
Quest Fantasy Football Leagues: lol
Dominate Fantasy Football: I did a background check on all my players!
Fantasy Football Cafe: lol
Game Time Decisions: Has anyone done an auction FFL?
Fantasy Football Cafe: can't draft michael clayton...
Fantasy Football Cafe: oh nm only 2 picks left
Fantasy Football Trader: Very enjoyable time all.
Fantasy Football Trader: I have GTD
Game Time Decisions: you like?
Ultimate FF Cheat Sheets: as well, I'd like to do another mock using NFFC rules
Game Time Decisions: Yea, this has been fun and good practice for what lies ahead in August
Fantasy Football Trader: LOVE it. You go auction and you'll never go back.
Game Time Decisions: See, that's what I really want to do
Game Time Decisions: Rent out an area at a sports bar and just spend hours upon hours on it
Fantasy Insider Online: hey if any of you guys are on myspace... www.myspace.com/fantasyinsideronline
Chris - MDC User: i lost internet connection
Game Time Decisions: I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to run as soon as my last pick goes. I have an interview with someone on the east coast who needs to be done fore 10 his time. Again guys, I'd like to stay in touch. theryansimmonsshow@yahoo.com
